Diamond Cutting Process - How it all works

1) Pre Inspection Before any work commences, a thorough inspection is carried out to assess the condition of the wheel.
2) Programming Once stripped and prepped, each wheel profile is mapped and programmed for machining using specialist software.
3) Colour Finish Once programming is complete, we follow our standard refinishing process. After the colour has been applied to the wheel, the diamond-cutting procedure begins.
4) Initial Lathe Turning Lathe Turning machinery will remove as little as 0.01” per pass shaping the alloy wheel to achieve the highest level of precision. This is used to remove unwanted parts of the material.

5) Finishing
With the diamond-cutting process complete, each wheel will undergo a deburring process before it is ready for coating. After the anti-corrosive barrier has been applied to the metal the alloy will go through Powder Coating for either a gloss, satin, smoked or candy clear coat.
